Child Support Agency top Public Service awards
The Child Support Agency scooped the pool at the Service Charter Awards for Excellence – the awards for Commonwealth Government Agencies excelling in service delivery – Minister for Youth and Children Affairs, Larry Anthony, said today.
“Child Support Agency staff have one of the most difficult jobs in the public service. The parents they deal with are going through an often stressful and emotive transition after separation. The staff are on the frontline working out sensitive financial arrangements for the most important part of the whole equation – the children.
“The Child Support Agency strives to be the best service delivery agency in Australia. These awards are clear recognition of the achievements the Child Support Agency has made to deliver quality service to more than 1.2 million separated parents in this country.
The CSA received two golds and a silver award for :
- excellence integrating service charter into core service delivery outcomes and organisational culture (gold award);
- excellence in service delivery to rural, remote and regional Australians (gold award); and,
- excellence in service charters driving online service delivery (silver award).
This years achievements continue the Child Support Agency’s excellent service charter tradition. I congratulate the management and staff at the Child Support Agency for their efforts,” Mr Anthony said.
