Internet site supports people with a disability
Minister for Community Services Larry Anthony today launched a new CRS Australia (formerly the Commonwealth Rehabilitation Service) internet site that will support people with disability.
“The Internet site, CRS Australia, is specifically targeted at people with an injury, disability or health condition, and will have particular relevance to employers, Centrelink staff, health professionals and the insurance industry,” said Mr Anthony.
“It will serve as an information resource for all Australians and features specific information for people in rural and remote areas as well as those from culturally diverse backgrounds.
“This site offers hope to working age Australians with an injury, disability or health condition,” said Mr Anthony.
“CRS Australia will use the new site to take full advantage of the opportunities the Internet provides and feedback from site visitors will help CRS Australia evolve its online service provision for the future.”
The website will be launched at 10 am in the Parliament House Theatrette foyer.
