Have your say on Specialist Disability Accommodation
The Review of the Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Pricing and Payments Framework will provide people with disability, disability sector organisations and existing or potential investors are invited to have their say.
The Framework provides guidance and instruction on the pricing and payment arrangements for SDA funding.
Assistant Minster for Social Services and Disability Services Jane Prentice welcomes the Review, which is a Disability Reform Council commitment.
“Currently we have a shortage of high quality and accessible accommodation for people living with disability.” Mrs Prentice said.
“This Review will consider whether the pricing outlined in the Framework remain adequate.”
“An effective specialist disability accommodation market is one that meets the needs of consumers, while providing investors with economic and social returns.”
Feedback on the Framework can be provided by attending a roundtable event to be held in each capital city from late May, or by making a written submission from 4 June. The roundtable and submission process will close on 26 June 2018.
