Graeme Samuel AC appointed President of Alzheimer’s Australia
I am delighted to congratulate Graeme Samuel AC on the commencement of his term as the National President of Alzheimer’s Australia.
Mr Samuel brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role, as well as first hand understanding of the impact of Alzheimer’s on Australian families, having cared for his mother who lived with dementia.
Mr Samuel is a widely respected community and business leader and will be a great asset to Alzheimer’s Australia.
Graeme has already rendered extensive public service as Chairman of the ACCC and President of the National Competition Council.
I also congratulate outgoing President Ita Buttrose AO on her tireless work at the helm of this important organisation.
I am pleased that she will continue her advocacy for people living with dementia as a National Ambassador for Alzheimer’s Australia.
I look forward to continuing to work closely with Alzheimer’s Australia to tackle the challenges presented by dementia.
